We use Australia Post and StarTrack for our deliveries, two of the top carriers in the country, to ensure that your products arrive quickly and with minimal delays.

We dispatch orders the next business day, excluding weekends and orders placed after 4 PM EAST. Typically, orders within Australia arrive within 5 working days. Deliveries to remote or rural areas may require additional time. You will receive tracking details once your order is dispatched, allowing you to track its progress.

Upon receipt of the returned item, we will issue a full refund, excluding shipping costs.

PetLab enzyme solution is a proprietary blend of natural ingredients and enzymes formulated specifically to treat and completely remove stains and odours caused by urine, feaces, vomit, slobber and any other mess from animals and humans. The formula works to break down and completely remove the odour causing matter, thereby removing the stain and odour completely. Not just masking it.

PetLab uses a proprietary enzyme formula produced through a natural fermentation process and not "manufactured" in a laboratory. This makes the product far more natural and eco-friendly. In addition our blend of enzymes are carefully selected specifically for their appetite to consume organic waste and uric acid crystals. The formula also includes a proprietary wetting agent additive for increased surface coverage and deeper penetration – It may take more time to make a product as highly specialised and concentrated as PetLab - but the results are worth it!

PetLab's enzyme stain and odour remover is a proprietary fermented formula blended with natural microorganisms and surfactants. It contains fermentation-produced enzymes, inorganic salts, organic compounds, non-ionic surfactants derived from natural materials, and demineralized or deionized water.

Naturally derived Vanilla fragrance

PetLab ready-to-use products require no further dilution and come in 750ml, 1L, and 5L sizes. Concentrates come in 300ml and 2L bottles and need to be diluted according to instructions.

To use the concentrate, mix 50ml with 950ml of water. Rinse out any other cleaning products first to avoid contamination, and add the water before the concentrate to avoid over-foaming.

PetLab's natural product may degrade if the container is not sealed correctly, contaminated, or stored improperly. It is important to store PetLab in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight and harsh chemicals.

Yes, PetLab can work on both new and old carpet stains, but the instructions for treatment differ. In all cases it is best to treat as soon as possible to avoid staining. Important to test for colour fastness or other damage on an inconspicuous area before full treatment. It is important to flush out any residue from previously applied products before using PetLab to ensure its effectiveness.

Don't be alarmed if the smell gets stronger after applying PetLab. This means the enzymes have made contact with the urine and are working to break down the odour-causing crystals and bring them to the surface. This is more noticeable when treating older stains or heavily soiled areas.

If you have followed the instructions but the odour/stain persists, here are some possible reasons and solutions:

  • Residue from previous cleaning products may be blocking the enzymes. Make sure to extract or flush out any remaining residue before using PetLab.
  • The visible stain may not be the only affected area. Treat a wider area to ensure full contact with all the odour-causing matter below the surface.
  • Use enough PetLab solution to saturate the area being treated. Estimate the amount based on the volume of urine deposited.
  • Enzymes need time to work. Keep the area moist for as long as possible and avoid premature evaporation by treating at the coolest time of day or covering with a plastic tarp in warm temperatures.
  • Pre-treat with PetLab before shampooing or steam cleaning the carpet to avoid spreading the urine throughout the entire area.
  • For older stains repeat applications may be necessary.

PetLab is not formulated to repel or deter animals but because it completely removes the source of the odour it will discourage returning to the same spot.

PetLab works for all types of urine whether from cats, dogs, other animals, or humans

Yes! You can use PetLab Stain & Odour Remover for your cat's litter box. After emptying and washing the box, coat it inside and out with PetLab solution and allow it to air dry for around 30 minutes. Once the box is odour-free, wipe the surface with a paper towel or clean microfiber cloth and put it back to use. Keep in mind that it may take multiple treatments to remove built-up urine deposits.

No. PetLab Stain & Odour remover is formulated to effectively remove all types of stains and odours caused by urine, faeces, vomit or other organic pet messes around the home.

No! PetLab Stain & Odour Remover is not intended for topical use or consumption by pets. It is formulated for use on surfaces and fabrics only. If your pet has any skin irritations or health concerns, it is recommended to consult with a veterinarian for proper treatment.

While PetLab Stain & Odour Remover can be used in a carpet shampooer/extractor, it should be used as a pre-treatment before shampooing. We recommend pre-treating the affected area with PetLab according to the instructions, allowing it to work for the recommended time, and then using your carpet shampooer/extractor to clean the area. This will help ensure that the urine deposit is not spread and it is fully treated and eliminated before shampooing.

Yes! It can be used to treat all water-safe surfaces, indoors and outdoors, hard and soft. Different application instructions do apply, depending on the surface. No matter what surface is being treated, it is always advised to proceed carefully and test first for colour fastness or other adverse damage on an inconspicuous area of the surface before proceeding with full treatment. Play it safe and test first!

PetLab Stain & Odour Remover is generally safe for most carpets and rugs that are water safe. However, in some cases, especially with natural fibres like wool and other natural blends, the acidity in urine can cause burn marks that resemble stains and are in most cases irreversible. PetLab can help remove the odour, but it cannot remove these burn marks. For natural fibres, it is recommended to test on an inconspicuous area of the carpet or rug first to check for any adverse effects before proceeding with full treatment.

Berber carpet is difficult to remove stains from because of its looped pile, which traps the stain causing matter instead of releasing it through the top of the pile. To remove stains, apply clean tap water to the soiled area and blot continuously until the stain fades and the odour is removed. For natural fibres, avoid using enzyme cleaners and use a specialised cleaner for natural fibres. Alternatively, you can use PetLab Healthy Habitat natural disinfectant to neutralise odours and disinfect the area.

PetLab is safe to use on leather and has received positive customer feedback. However, it's important to test for colorfastness first, as not all leather quality is the same. Water can damage leather, so use PetLab cautiously and avoid applying too much. PetLab should not be used on suede, as it can be easily damaged. For suede, it's best to seek out a professional cleaner.

Most hardwood surfaces are not water-safe, so it is not recommended to saturate these surfaces with any liquid, even water. If you know your hardwood flooring is sealed with a water-safe sealant, you should be good to use PetLab on it, but it is always best to test a small, inconspicuous area first for colorfastness and to make sure the surface won’t be damaged. It is important to clean up urine and other organic deposits as soon as it’s spotted to prevent the acid from burning or discolouring the surface. Burn marks caused by uric acid on hardwood floors are irreversible but can lighten in colour with repeated use of PetLab. To remove black stains permanently, the surface needs to be sanded down and resealed. If you're not sure if your timber floor is water-safe, contact the manufacturer of the flooring for the best cleaning tips.

Yes, PetLab can be used safely to treat bamboo floors. Ensure you leave the solution to dwell for around 10–15 minutes before wiping up the solution. It is important to note that not all bamboo flooring is created equal, so we always advise testing the solution on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it is safe for use.

Yes it can, but before treating with PetLab, the urine contaminated item needs to be rinsed under a tap to flush out the excess urine and any residue from previously used detergents or chemicals.

Yes, you can use PetLab on mattresses and padded upholstery to remove urine stains and odours. For fresh deposits, start by blotting up excess urine with paper towels or microfiber cloths. Then, saturate the affected areas with PetLab, making sure to use enough solution to soak deeply into the affected areas. Allow the area to air dry naturally. For older, embedded deposits, target and treat the visible stained areas first, saturate them with PetLab, and allow to air dry. The biological removal of the urine deposits takes place during this drying time. You may need to repeat the process for stubborn stains.

While PetLab is formulated to treat artificial turf and other hard outdoor surfaces, it can also be used on natural grass and plants with better than expected results. PetLab is very mild with no harsh ingredients and generally does no more harm than water would. However, it is important to proceed carefully and test first on an inconspicuous area as not all grass and plants are the same. It is also important to note that if the urine has already caused damage to the grass or plant, PetLab may not be able to reverse the damage.

Some people recommend using vinegar or baking soda to remove pet urine smells, but they don't actually remove the odour and can make it worse. Soap-based cleaners can also make the problem worse by pushing the stain deeper into the carpet. Household products with oxidising agents like hydrogen peroxide can cause discoloration to carpets and are not recommended. It's best to use a specialised pet stain remover like PetLab that can break down and remove the urine at the source.

The core ingredients of both the Indoor Healthy Habitat and Outdoor/Turf solutions are essentially the same. However, the Outdoor/Turf version is more concentrated and includes additional natural additives and wetting agents specifically formulated to boost its cleaning power for the tougher conditions found outdoors.
If you choose to use Healthy Habitat for outdoor surfaces, we recommend increasing the concentration of the mix for optimal effectiveness. 
The amount of PetLab Enzyme Stain & Odour solution you use depends on the amount of urine that has been deposited over the area to be treated. 

As a rule of thumb, it is important to use a volume of PetLab solution equal to the amount of urine deposited. 

As you can appreciate, we cannot recommend an exact quantity to be applied as every case is different, however to get a measurable idea it is important to note that a dog can urinate between 200mls to 2L per day (depending on the size of the dog). 

Area Coverage Guide for PetLab Concentrate Solutions

Mixing Ratio: 60 mL concentrate with 940 mL water = 1 liter of solution.
Coverage: 1 liter covers approximately 9.29 square meters.

It is absolutely safe to use PetLab Products on natural grass and plants.

*always test first   

Because the surface is not fixed, it becomes more challenging to remove the odour causing uric acid crystals.  

Recommended two-step treatment:
 
(1) First, water down and flush out the affected area using clean tap water only. 
(2) Whilst still moist apply PetLab Stain & Odour Remover liberally over the area and allow to dwell until air dry. 
(3) If in a sunny area or warm temperature cover the treated area with a plastic tarp like covering to slow down evaporation. Remember the enzymes are more active in moist conditions, so try keep it as moist as possible for as long as possible. 
(4) Following the enzyme treatment you can apply the Outdoor/Turf natural disinfectant to disinfect the area and boost odour control


Yes, PetLab Outdoor/Turf can be used on loose surfaces, pavers, and sand. Being a loose surface the urine deposits can spread more easily, making it more challenging and may require more solution to cover the affected area.

Maintaining artificial turf involves two key approaches: routine maintenance and deep cleaning, each with specific purposes and actions.
Routine Maintenance:
  • Purpose: To prevent the buildup of dirt, debris, and minor odours, and to maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of the turf.
  • Activities: Includes regular sweeping, vacuuming, or light hosing to remove surface debris and slight soiling. Applying a maintenance product like Outdoor/Turf (OT) periodically (every 4-6 weeks in cooler temperatures and every 2-3 weeks in warmer temperatures) helps control odours and keeps the turf sanitised.
  • Frequency: Performed regularly, depending on the usage and environmental conditions.
Deep Cleaning:
  • Purpose: To thoroughly clean and restore turf that has been heavily soiled or neglected, especially in cases where the turf serves as a primary toilet area for pets, is used by multiple pets, or has not been treated for an extended period.
  • Activities: Involves a more intensive cleaning process, starting with the application of an enzyme-based cleaner to break down and remove deeply embedded organic matter and odors. This is followed by a thorough application of a disinfectant to sanitise the area completely, ensuring all remaining bacteria and residues are eliminated.
  • Frequency: Conducted as needed, based on the condition of the turf and the severity of soiling or odour problems.
By distinguishing between routine maintenance and deep cleaning, you can effectively manage the care of your artificial turf, ensuring it remains clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing for years to come.

To ensure proper use of the hose applicator and get the best results, follow these steps:

1. Attach the Applicator securely to the hose. 
Ensure the plug is CLOSED before turning on the water to prevent leaks.

2. Gradually turn on the water while kinking the hose to allow pressure to build up.
Keep the plug CLOSED at this stage. 

3. OPEN the Plug and start spraying

Effective Removal of Pet Hair using PetLab Eco Laundry Cleaner:

  2. Natural Fabric Softener: Loosens fibers slightly, which helps to release pet hair during the washing process.

Tips:
  1. Using an extra rinse cycle can help flush out pet hair that has been loosened by the detergent.
  2. Ensure the washing machine is not overloaded. This is crucial as an overcrowded washing machine will not only clean less effectively but also allow less room for pet hair to be removed from the fabrics.
  3. Regular washing of pet bedding and throw rugs where pets frequently lie can reduce the overall amount of pet hair that ends up on your clothing and in your laundry.
Using PetLab Eco Laundry Cleaner with these properties and following these techniques can significantly improve your success in removing pet hair from laundry. 


  • PetLab Eco Laundry Liquid can be used as a pre-treatment for stains by pouring or spraying it directly onto the stain and letting it soak for 10 minutes before washing.
  • It can also be used as a laundry additive by adding 25 ml to each load of laundry along with your regular detergent, or adjusting the amount based on the level of dirt and stains.
  • For a specific pet laundry wash, you can use it as a ready-to-use detergent. For top loaders, add 30ml for a light wash and 50ml for a heavy wash. For front loaders, add 25 ml and increase the dosage for heavy-duty stains and odours.
  • If you prefer to hand wash your pet's items, add 25 ml of Pet Laundry to a 5 litre bucket or basin of water with a temperature of around 30 degrees Celsius.
  • PetLab Eco Laundry Liquid is effective between 30-60 degrees Celsius, with most stains being removed at 40 degrees Celsius.
  • It is not recommended for use on washable silk, wool, or dry clean-only fabrics.
  • For pets with sensitive skin, it is recommended to add an extra rinse cycle to ensure that any excess detergent residue is removed from the wash cycle.

  • Wash them separately from other items in cool water with regular detergent.

We are that confident with PetLab that we offer a 45 day risk-free trial period. If after using PetLab as directed and you believe that the product does not meet your expectations we ask that you contact us in the first instance to explain your problem so we can offer further advice and guidance to assist in ensuring the product meets your needs and works as per our directions. Should our product/s still not live up to our guarantees and we are satisfied you have followed the application directions and have used enough product for the amount of urine accumulated, PetLab will refund the purchase price upon receipt of the items returned to PetLab.  Postage costs are not refundable unless the item is deemed to be faulty or defective.

Please note that we do not offer refunds or returns on subscription orders that have already been processed, customers will need to cancel their subscription prior to their next auto-ship date, should you no longer wish to receive the items. 

Please note: Old urine stains that have not been removed or not removed correctly will have greater concentration of uric acid crystals and due to its high acidic nature can cause permanent burn marks which could have the appearance of a stain but is actually a permanent discolouration of the carpet/rug, which unfortunately is irreversible.  PetLab will remove the urine stain and odour but it cannot remove burn marks. The same applies with urine burn marks on timber floors. However with timber floors you can sand back the surface and return the timber to its original state, carpets do not have this option. This is why we encourage removing urine as soon as possible using only an enzymatic product such as PetLab.


We reserve the right to assess the condition of a returned product prior to offering a refund or exchange. If damaged or misused it may result in a refund or exchange being refused by us.


After assessing the condition of the returned products and if your refund is approved, we will send you an email confirming that your refund has been issued. Refunds will generally be processed within seven (7) business days of our receipt of the returned products.

All refunds will be issued using the same payment method used to purchase the products. We request that you please contact us if you have not received your refund within ten (10) days of us notifying you that a refund has been issued.


Notify Lazbro Pty Ltd within 45 days of purchase should you wish to make a return. Once you request a return you will be provided with email confirmation authorising the return. Authorised refunds entitle you to a refund equal to the price you paid for the product only. 

We will however take responsibility for delivery costs only when you are returning faulty, damaged or defective products. However, we reserve the right to charge you for any postage costs incurred for returns, should a refund or exchange be declined or if you’ve changed your mind.

To return a product to us via post or courier:

  1. Complete the ‘returns form’ that we will provide you upon your request.
  2. Place the ‘returns form’ with the item/s that you are returning and carefully pack

ECO CARPET CLEANER

Depending on your carpet shampooer, follow these guidelines:

For Single Tank Shampooers:
  • 500ml tank: Add 10ml of concentrate.
  • 750ml tank: Add 15ml of concentrate.
  • 1-litre tank: Add 20ml of concentrate.
Simply measure and pour the concentrate directly into the tank and fill with warm water.

For Twin Tank Shampooers:
  1. Solution Tank: Pour concentrate to the suggested markings.
  2. Water Tank: Fill with clean warm water.
Twin tank shampooers will automatically dilute the concentrate to the correct ratio as you clean.

instructions:

  1. Vacuum the Carpet thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.
  2. Follow the instructions on the bottle to mix the solution with the appropriate amount of warm water in a bucket. Make sure not to use too much solution to avoid residue.
  3. Before applying the solution, perform a spot test in an inconspicuous area to ensure it doesn't cause discolouration or damage.
  4. You can either dip a soft-bristle brush or sponge into the solution and apply it directly to the carpet, or use a spray bottle to mist the solution onto the carpet.
  5. Gently scrub the carpet in circular motions, focusing on stained or heavily soiled areas. Be careful not to scrub too hard to avoid damaging the carpet fibres.
  6. After scrubbing, fill another bucket with clean, warm water. Dip a clean towel or microfibre cloth into the water, wring it out, and blot the carpet to remove the cleaning solution. You may need to do this several times to ensure all the solution is removed.
  7. Use dry, clean microfibre cloths to blot the carpet and absorb as much moisture as possible. Press down firmly to help lift out the water.
  8. Allow the carpet to air dry completely. You can speed up the drying process by opening windows.
  9. Once the carpet is completely dry, vacuum it again to lift the carpet fibres and remove any remaining residue.

Tips:

  • Work in small sections to ensure thorough cleaning and prevent the carpet from becoming overly saturated.
  • Avoid using too much water, as it can lead to mould and mildew growth.
  • For tough stains, you may need to repeat the process or use our specialised enzyme stain & odour remover.
By following these steps, you can effectively clean your carpet by hand and maintain its appearance and freshness.

We designed it to make it easy to maintain. There is no need to wash the whole bed, simply slip off the cover and machine wash on a gentle cycle using a mild, pet safe detergent. To wash the waterproof lining encased around the bed, simply spray a pet safe sanitiser Healthy Habitat over the lining and wipe it down with a clean microfibre cloth.  All covers should be hung to dry inside out and away from direct sun.
